Zenless Zone Zero patch 1.1 is coming soon, and being the first patch since the game’s launch, there’s quite a bit of new content coming with it. There’s three new characters (Qingyi, Jane Doe, and Seth), as well as new events and story to play through.
Below, we explain when Zenless Zone Zero maintenance starts and ends, alongside the release time of version 1.1. We’ve also added some details about what to expect from Zenless Zone Zero patch 1.1.
What time does Zenless Zone Zero go down for maintenance?
Zenless Zone Zero will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Aug. 13, or Wednesday, Aug. 14 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- Aug. 13 at 11 p.m. BST for the U.K.
- Aug. 14 at 12 a.m. CEST for western Europe/Paris
- Aug. 14 at 7 a.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
- Aug. 14 at 8 a.m. AET for Australia/Sydney
Remember that the new battle pass will start once maintenance ends, so you may want to hold on to at least 160 battery charge for after maintenance ends, if you wanted to min-max.
What time does Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1 start?
Zenless Zone Zero should come back from maintenance with the 1.1 version at the following times:
- Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
- Aug. 13 at 11 p.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
- Aug. 14 at 4 a.m. BST for the U.K.
- Aug. 14 at 5 a.m. CEST for western Europe/Paris
- Aug. 14 at 12 p.m. JST for Japan/Tokyo
- Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. AET for Australia/Sydney
The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times version 1.1 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it very frequently ends about an hour early than the given time.
What’s new in Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1?
Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1 will bring out three new characters. Qingyi is an S-rank electric stun character whose banner will run during the first half of the patch and Jane is an S-rank physical anomaly character who will run during the second half of the patch. Seth is an A-rank character, and he’ll be in the banner alongside Jane.

Jane Doe seems to be a part of the Mountain Lions, a new gang that our heroes have their eyes on. We’ll get new story about her and her gang, as well as new limited-time events that’ll help you rake in those Polychromes.
