The best Saug loadout in Black Ops 6 packs a punch, despite the fact that this SMG is one of the smallest primary weapons in the game. This means it’s great for sprinting around, sliding, and diving with, but you absolutely do not want to engage at any sort of distance with it.

So that’s what this Saug loadout is geared towards: accepting the fact it’ll have plenty of recoil but leaning into the mobility, quick fire rate, and swift damage-killing capabilities. The map-style battle pass from Modern Warfare 3 has been replaced with pages, each consisting of seven rewards, but to unlock the seventh, you must spend tokens on the previous six. You also must spend a certain number of tokens to unlock the next page. So in total, to complete page three and get your hands on the Saug, you need to spend 14 tokens: three to unlock page two, four more to unlock page three, then all seven on the third page.

That’s right, folks: We’re entering the world of akimbo in Black Ops 6. The Saug is perfectly suited for it; you’re best bet is to focus all the other attachments on the fact you’ll be dual-wielding this SMG. The Compensator helps manage the vertical recoil control — trust us, there’s a lot of recoil — while the Extended Mag I increases the clip size enough so you can completely clear a room of enemies without needing to reload, as you’ll have a total of 90 bullets across both guns.

Your goal will be to constantly get in the face of your enemies, so the CQB Grip is perfect for this, buffing the dive, slide, and sprint to fire speeds, while the Fast Motion Laser will make your hipfiring more accurate when diving, jumping, and sliding.

Ultimately, the benefit of running the Akimbo Saug is that your ability to completely shred through enemies is unmatched, but you want to avoid fighting at more than around ten meters away from enemies at all costs.   • Melee: Knife
  • Tactical: Stim Shot
  • Lethal: Combat Axe
  • Field Upgrade: Morphine Injector
  • Perk 1: Dexterity
  • Perk 2: Bruiser
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Specialty: Enforcer
  • Wildcard: Overkill

Firstly, y0u want to use Overkill with this class so you can equip a gun more suited to long-range engagements. As always, the Knife is the best melee option, but because you’ll be sprinting round constantly. The Stim Shot is the no-brainer option in the tactical slot — it heals you quickly and refreshes your tactical sprint. Meanwhile, the Combat Axe is the perfect lethal to quickly throw if you don’t have enough ammo to finish off an enemy in the room, since it’s a one-hit-kill.

For the field upgrade, opt for the Morphine Injector, because it’s more passive than most of the others and you want to constantly stay mobile. Getting a kill while in last stand will revive you, so you can stay on the move if you’re able to finish off an enemy. (Alternatively, if you don’t find the Morphine Injector to be beneficial as it’s quite circumstantial, the Tactical Insertion is worth running so you can spawn near the enemies.)

Go for the red perks here for the Enforcer specialty bonus, because killing enemies buffs your movement speed and health regen rate, two aspects that are essential to enabling your slaying. Dexterity or Gung-Ho are both decent choices in the first slot, with a slight edge for Dexterity because it permits you to stay more mobile, whereas the second slot options are both a bit lackluster. Bruiser is the better of the two as long as you remember to melee enemies whenever you can, but if you want to try and farm scorestreaks, go for Assassin. Finally, Double Time makes the most sense for the tactical sprint duration.

If you don’t fancy running Overkill for the longer range weapon and you want to dedicate yourself solely to the run-and-gun playstyle, run either Perk Greed or Tactical Expert instead. Two Stim Shots could be essential to having longer killstreaks, or there are plenty of fourth perks you could utilize such as Tac Mask, Flak Jacket, Ghost, Ninja, or Cold-Blooded.
