Now that it’s August, a new set of “Shared Skies” Timed Research has entered the fray in Pokémon Go.
This set launched on Aug. 1 and runs until Sept. 10, and it rewards Machop, Cubone, Hisuian Sneasel, and Donphan encounters. You’ll have to take out a ton of Team Go Rocket grunts in order to complete this set, so keep your eyes out for balloons and overtaken PokéStops.

You have until Sept. 10 to complete the following research tasks before they disappear.

- Defeat 5 Team Go Rocket grunts (Machop encounter)
- Win 3 raids (20 Ultra Balls)
- Defeat 10 Team Go Rocket grunts (Cubone encounter)
- Win 5 raids (10 Revives)
- Defeat 20 Team Go Rocket grunts (Hisuian Sneasel encounter)
- Catch a Pokémon on 10 different days (10 Max Potions)
Rewards: Donphan encounter, 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 XP

As noted, there is a time-gated element to the final task — catching a Pokémon on 10 different days — so make sure you do this on Sept. 1 at the very latest if you want to complete every step and earn the final rewards.
