Spider-Man 2 gets PC specs less than a day before launch

The Spider-Man 2 PC specs are coming in hot, with publisher PlayStation Studios dropping details about the PC port’s system requirements just a day before launch.

Originally released on PlayStation 5 in October 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the third game in the series, pairing together the protagonists from both previous entries (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) as they take on Venom and Kraven. The PC version of Spider-Man 2 is out tomorrow for Steam and Epic Games Store, but the radio silence around its system requirements had prompted confusion about what to expect from the port — and what machines could even run it.

PlayStation detailed the game’s system requirements on PC in a trailer and accompanying blog post. In addition to features like ray tracing and ultrawide monitor support, the PC version will also allow integrated use of the PS5’s DualSense controllers. Given that Insomniac’s Spider-Man games are among the few that have truly made use of the PS5’s advanced haptics, you’ll definitely want to use one of those controllers if you’re able to.
